INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla., Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Haggard Law Firm will host “Beyond the Premises,” a complimentary continuing legal education program on September 29 designed to give attorneys practical insight into some of the complex issues that arise in high-stakes personal injury and civil litigation.
The seminar will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, bringing together attorneys and legal professionals for an afternoon of education, discussion and conversation surrounding challenging areas of litigation.
The program will explore issues including negligent security, drowning incidents, medical malpractice, short-term rental liability, sexual assault and cruise liability. Speakers will draw on their experience handling complex cases to discuss the legal, practical and strategic considerations that can arise throughout litigation.
“We wanted to create a program that goes beyond simply talking about the law and focuses on the real challenges trial lawyers face when handling difficult cases,” said Michael A. Haggard, Managing Partner of The Haggard Law Firm. “The cases we work on often involve complicated legal issues, significant human consequences and questions that extend far beyond what initially appears in a complaint. Bringing experienced lawyers together to share what they have learned helps all of us become better advocates for our clients.”
The seminar will feature presentations from Haggard Law Firm Managing Partner Michael Haggard, Partner Todd Michaels and Of Counsel Bobby Dickman, as well as guest speaker Bridget Mercuri, Director of Public Relations and Earned Media at AMPLIFY.
Mercuri will present on “The Power of PR on Litigation and Case Strategy,” addressing how attorneys can navigate media attention and public communications throughout the life of a case.
“Beyond the Premises” is intended to provide attorneys with practical perspectives they can take back to their practices while creating an opportunity for members of the legal community to connect and exchange ideas about the evolving challenges facing trial lawyers.
“The best trial lawyers never stop learning,” Haggard said. “We see this seminar as an opportunity to bring attorneys together, discuss the difficult issues we encounter in our practices and share strategies that can ultimately benefit the clients we represent.”
